This feels different and I'm drawn to this

If you would've told me 2 years ago that I'd be moving to Africa, I would call you a liar. During that time in my life I was focused on trying to survive the pandemic. Not trying to survive a new country but more specifically a continent.

So what does this new life feel like?

You've ever played with clay and it might've felt weird in between your fingers if it was too wet or super dry. It has that in between feeling where the texture feels just right. I'm able to mold it easily into what I want it to be and its not restricting or hard to build.

I find myself sometimes in awe that I actually left the US and decided to start a life different than the one I had for over 30yrs.

Even though I have to learn Swahili because I'm not the greatest yet 😅

Some goals and memories you ask....

Well there's so many things that I want to do. Though the first goal I need to finish is a project I've been working on to transition myself here to Tanzania. It's a secret right now but I promise you'll be the first to know. Maybe I can give you a little hint...its composed of some writing and art. That's all you get!

Another goal of mine is just to live in spaces that I might've been to scared to do back in the US. Challenging myself to fall in love with the person I was always meant to be.

You see this isn't vacation for me. This is a new life that I want to mold into for the purpose of loving more of who I am. In this small and short life we live these experiences that make us grow or distract us from our vision. Overall I'm excited to regain these moments of clarity.

Here we go 2023!!! 🤎🤎🤎🌻
